A classically-trained musician with contemporary tastes, Heather is a multi-instrumentalist, artist, and teacher crafting spiritually uplifting and emotionally resonant experiences—whether that’s at a solo gig, or a night club.

Singer Songwriter

My artist project sprigs of heather is a mix of dark-pop and folk—haunting yet soothing, an ode to the bittersweetness of being human. 

With influences from Florence & The Machine, MARINA, Billie Eilish, and BANKS, sprigs of heather thrives in the liminal sphere, writing themes of duality with grace and ease—from personal to transpersonal; earth to ether; vulnerability to strength—sung with warm, feather-light vocals over deep, emotive piano. 

sprigs of heather’s first long-form project, the thing with feathers, is currently in the works—and gaining momentum around Brighton, with regular performances at A Gathering of Witches.

I am a music teacher, currently offering tuition in piano, violin, theory, and songwriting. My approach is warm and encouraging, with a focus on working to your strengths and building technical confidence across classical and contemporary styles.
